Back to meet the Chiropractors

She has attended a number of seminars in recent years on ‘Clinical pharmacology for Chiropractors’, ‘Myofascial distortion therapy’ and ‘Diagnosis of arthritis’.  She also undertook a ’Chiropractic treatment for Pregnancy’ seminar in order to help accommodate those of her patient’s that may fall pregnant, in addition to helping provide support for her colleagues Anna Maynard and Tone Telefsen-Hughes who both maintain a special interest for maternity care. 

Additionally, she published an article in 2004 in Clinical Chiropractic, an international, peer-reviewed journal which aims to enhance the standards and quality of practice of Chiropractors.  The article on the subject of Polymyalgia Rheumatica (a common inflammatory disease causing severe pain and stiffness affecting certain muscle groups) included discussion of a particular patient’s case and included recommendations for Chiropractors on how to recognise this condition within their practice, calling for further research on this topic.
